This year's Young People Now Foundation National Youth Conference, sponsored by the Camelot Foundation, will offer practitioners, policymakers and managers from across the UK the chance to discuss this and many other key issues. The event will also feature live performances from young people, a youth debate and speeches from high-profile figures such as Beverley Hughes, the minister for children, young people and families, and the children's commissioner Al Aynsley-Green.
The morning session will include the exclusive launch by local government minister Phil Woolas of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister's report Transitions - Improving Services for Young Adults. This research from the Social Exclusion Unit examines the effectiveness of services for young adults with severe or multiple problems.
