National Youth Agency: youthinformation.com looks at ... Citizens'Day

Events are scheduled for 17 October in Hull and 18 October in the other three areas. The days will celebrate youth and diversity with workshops, presentations, art projects and video launches. Backed by the Home Office, organisers say that Citizens' Day will be an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to come together to break down barriers, tackle prejudice, learn about different cultures and celebrate what we have in common. Getting involved means helping shape key decisions, improving neighbourhoods and making public services more accountable. For more information, visit the web site at www.citizensday.org.uk
