National Youth Agency: Training opportunities with Youth Access

1 min read
To be able to meet the advice and counselling needs of young people with complex problems, practitioners need distinct skills and knowledge. To meet these needs, Youth Access provides a unique programme of training: well established, highly-evaluated and competitively priced, with new courses each season.

Counsellors might be interested in two new courses: introducing coaching conversations; and working with young people at risk of suicide. There is also training on counselling young people affected by trauma, risk assessment in the counselling assessment process and an introduction to working with young people.

If you're considering how to carry out effective qualitative research to inform your agency's development and delivery, new training is being offered on conducting research with young people.

To avoid practitioners missing out on training due to the economic climate, Youth Access are offering a 20 per cent discount on all courses booked by 29 January. Details are available at www.youthaccess.org.uk/events.
