National Youth Agency: The Edge explores how to Think Big to bridge the generation gap

A revolutionary online question and answer service is set to reveal what young people really think. The Why Do campaign, the brainchild of 22-year-old Londoner Sabian Muhammad, will allow adults to quiz young people at the click of a mouse.

The website is supported by Think Big, a programme from communications company O2. Think Big exists to champion young people and showcase the positive role they play in society. It is open to all young people aged 13 to 25 and has been developed in conjunction with the National Youth Agency and UK Youth.

Why Do is one of the stories profiled in the latest issue of The Edge, the National Youth Agency's quarterly magazine on youth work and youth issues for local authority elected members and senior officers.

Also featuring in this issue of the magazine is a look at a recent Ofsted report on what characterises high-performing authorities. The report looks at the 10 high fliers among local authorities judged by Ofsted to be performing excellently, and identifies three main characteristics that they share.
