As the sector strives to respond effectively to the challenges of delivering high-quality services to young people with reduced budgets, the agency believes it is well-placed to offer support in making the transformation.
Fiona Blacke, NYA chief executive, said: "At a time of structural change the agency is seeking to play on its 'agency' title and build up a bank of extremely high-quality, tried and tested interim youth sector leaders and managers. We will offer these in to the sector to support change and the cost-effective delivery of excellent services to young people."
Successful applicants for the specialist interim youth sector leaders and managers register will be able to bring expertise in one or more specialisms within the sector, successfully transform delivery through their influence and ability to work with others, inspire confidence, motivate people to bring about change and have an understanding of finance and quality systems.
