National Youth Agency: Getting ready for Youth Work Week

2 mins read
This year's Youth Work Week is just around the corner. It takes place between 1 and 7 November with the theme of "celebrating great youth work". The week seeks to promote the value of youth work and raise its profile with politicians and the public.

To support the week the agency has placed a range of briefings and background materials on its website. These have already stimulated thousands of visits, but there's still time to download a free set and help to make Youth Work Week a success. Visit www.nya.org.uk/youthworkweek for more details.

The agency has also selected a number of Youth Work Ambassadors - projects that embody the good principles of youth work and demonstrate great practice - that it hopes will help to spread the word throughout local communities and to the local news media before and during the week. Two of these are profiled below.
