I couldn't speak English when I came to the UK and I was separated frommy parents. I felt very alone, confused and anxious and it was verydifficult to mix with the young people in my school and community. Itwas so different from home being here and I was really struggling atschool.
I joined The Prince's Trust personal development club at my school -Bemrose Community School - and they really helped me sort out mythoughts and ideas and helped me improve my confidence and self-esteem.I even got involved in the Secret Service for Students - an agony auntservice run by us.
Since then life has just got better and better. I am now at sixth-formcollege and work with others doing various projects in thecommunity.
