1 min read
As an A-level student my life pretty much consists of studying and going to college during the week, and playing hard at weekends. I am a normal teenage girl and experience stress in my everyday life, with a suitable amount of drama and hormones. I'm currently working towards my AS exams. As you probably expect tension is paramount.

I have so much pressure to contend with, at times it's nearly impossibleto live up to everyone's expectations of me. In times when I feel likegiving up, I know I can always depend on my friend Emily; it's a comfortto have someone who is experiencing the same rollercoaster of emotionsas you.

Teachers try their best to reassure me, but let's be honest things havechanged considerably since they were at school. I'm constantly beingtold to "work now, play later" but come on, would they really do thesame if they were in my position? I know I must stay focused anddedicated to my studies as it is mapping my future, however, temptationcan sometimes get the better of me.
