
I had no family support. I was angry, self-harming and stealing to survive, which resulted in youth offending getting involved.
I agreed to be put into the Team Around the Child programme (TAC) as I wanted to change my life.
The programme gave me advice, guidance and opportunities to try new things such as mentoring with the targeted youth team, being on the interview panel for framework and Young Addaction, and completing the Barclays Money Skills "champions" project.
When I was told that Barclays had nominated me as a representative for the One Young World summit in South Africa, I was shocked but so excited. I had never experienced anything like this and it inspired me to go on to achieve great things.
