I have made new friends and met nice people. It's all about socialising and stuff. Last term I did yoga, painting, music, dancing and cultural stuff. We also did some beauty classes. Make-up was my favourite as I learnt something new.
Maureen (a case worker at the Refugee Council) has supported me. When I was feeling low, she supported me. She escorted me everywhere because I didn't know London. She has been like a sister to me.
My favourite thing is school as it had been a long time since I went.
I've enjoyed meeting supportive teachers and making nice friends.
I applied for asylum but when I went to court they refused me the first time. The hardest thing was they didn't believe me. The whole process is really hard.
