My life: Chris Polley, 11, Portsmouth

I stitched this tank firing a cannonball. I chose it because I like transport and automobiles. It was really good fun and I enjoyed it because I made new friends.

We did drama as well. My one was about how I was in my friend's houseand this bomb blew our house up. We all died and these two nurses camein an ambulance and tried to rescue us. We didn't survive, but oneperson just did. But they died later because another bomb came down. That's it. It was set in the 1940s.

I did all this through the children's university, which we do on aSaturday. They taught us about bombs and stuff, and what children had todo in World War One and Two. It was interesting and we learnt manythings.

I also do car racing. I drive a Mini round a track. My dad used to do itand he taught me to do it. It's on private property. It took me a monthto learn to drive. The fastest I've been is 75 miles per hour.
