Youth minister Beverley Hughes made the announcement yesterday (Tuesday) as she unveiled the responses to the Government's consultation on Care Matters at Millfields Community School in Hackney, east London.
The event was attended by some of the 12,000 young people in care and care-leavers who responded to the consultation, through initiatives run by organisations such as What Makes the Difference?, a partnership of 60 organisations led by Rainer, which consulted 339 young people and 426 professionals at four national events.
Hughes said: "We can see from the response to the consultation that there is genuine commitment to making a real difference to the lives of children and young people in care."
