Letters: ENCOURAGE EXCITING EXERCISE

1 min read Letters
I don't think the Change4Life campaign (CYP Now 15-21 January) will stop young people from eating junk food, but I do think that it will raise awareness and inform people to make the best choices for themselves.

The main problem is that junk food is really cheap, quick to get and fills you up too. There should be more of a focus on exercise in the campaign and providing free and exciting activities for young people to encourage them to lead healthier lifestyles.

PNDs NOT USED EVERYWHERE

I must take issue with the article "Tories accuse the government of massaging criminal justice figures" (CYP Now 15-21 January).

Cumbria Constabulary, like a number of forces, does not issue penalty notices for disorder (PNDs) to under-18s. Although there may be some areas that do, it is by no means the whole of the country.
