E2E morphs into Functional Learning this year and tutors will be expected to prepare students for qualifications alongside the heavy pastoral and basic skills workload, all for a salary of £16,000 to £18,000.
Sadly, E2E teachers/tutors have no set salary scales, and no national pay bargaining body to take up their case. But the salaries on offer in relation to the qualifications and workloads involved are dire.
