I would like to clarify that the VCS Engage project is very much alive and doing great things (CYP Now, 16-22 February, p6). While the national programme ended in 2008, Children England continues to run the project across English regions.
In the last quarter alone we reached over 600 voluntary and community organisations. This is in addition to getting the sector heard in government decision-making.
