What a large bunch of hypocrites we adults are. As I sit counselling a teacher colleague who is being bullied by her managers, I wonder how we can possibly expect the kids to get it right when, in my opinion, our whole society is based on a large dose of bullying?
Just look at the Government. Just look at the way business and management is run. The package is dressed up in nice words, but underneath there is a sinister undercurrent of bullying.
Another beacon of adult hypocrisy is the way that we separate young people taking drugs from the endemic disease of alcoholism that pervades, and is indeed encouraged, in our society.
