I would like to explain that consumer aerosol products are no longer athreat to our environment.
Aerosol products no longer contain chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), whichcause depletion of the upper ozone layer. Under the 1987 MontrealProtocol more than 160 countries, including the UK, agreed to ban theuse of CFCs as propellants, except in some medical products. Since theban, evidence that the ozone layer is repairing itself has been reportedby the US Department of Commerce's National Oceanic & AtmosphericAdministration.
Unfortunately, most consumers remain unaware of the ban.
