KPMG Foundation

1 min read
What it is: The KPMG Foundation is the charitable arm of accounting firm KPMG. It is a separate organisation, although it is funded by the UK branch of KPMG. The foundation is primarily interested in funding educational and social projects, and focuses particularly on supporting children and young people up to the age of 30 who are unable to fulfil their potential because of social constraints.

How much is on offer: The foundation has a capital sum of £10m.

What it will fund: The foundation will consider projects that support disadvantaged people. It is particularly interested in supporting refugees, young offenders, children and young people who have been in care, and children and young people who have dyslexia or literacy difficulties.

Who can apply: The foundation considers applications for grants once a year. Organisations interested in applying for funding are invited to submit their details at any point during the year. The foundation will then contact all interested organisations, providing any specific eligibility criteria. Applicants will need to demonstrate what they would achieve with a grant, why they need it, how long the project will take to complete, who will carry out the work, who will benefit and why.
