Julie Jones admits the last week has been very difficult. In her role aschair of the Westminster Local Safeguarding Children Board she has facedtelevision, radio and newspaper interviews on the case of Child B, whowas tortured by her parents. Once the court case ended on 8 February,Jones faced a barrage of questions.
"There were a lot of demands from television and radio and it wasnecessary to respond to those straight away. It was a very busy eveningand it started again very early the next morning on breakfasttelevision," she reveals.
"We did want to be able to explain, and to rebuke what was being said inthe press because some of it was clearly misinformed."
