Gail Ryder Richardson, early years development officer for Learning Through Landscapes, is enthusiastic about the benefits of transforming outdoor play areas.
Her organisation is working with 15 early years settings in Kent in the Space to Grow project. This scheme aims to increase children's outdoor access, improve the quality of their play and learning experiences, and boost their confidence and enthusiasm for outdoor learning among practitioners.
