Parents of disabled children often find it difficult to arrange suitable childcare, but one project run by East Anglia charity Out & About is working to change this situation.

Co-ordinator Sue Woolmer can tap into a team of 70 volunteers and 20 support workers as she helps childcare settings, including after-school clubs and holiday clubs, to fully include disabled children aged from five to 16.

She says the ability of settings to cater for disabled children varies greatly. Some have excellent practice, while others need "a lot of work".
