Primary schools in Leadgate have linked up with primary health care professionals to help children develop knowledge, skills and a healthy attitude in relation to drugs so that they can make informed choices.
The Feel Good Road Show will travel to Leadgate Infants, Leadgate Juniors, and Our Lady and St Joseph's RCVA Brooms schools. Pupils and staff from the schools helped develop the programme with Derwentside PCT specialist health promotion service, the school nursing department, Northpoint Media and Busy Ape Arts.
