Information Sharing: Lewisham merges data-sharing pilots

1 min read

The London borough's Reducing Youth Offending Generic National Solution and its Information, Referral and Tracking projects have been combined to form Lewisham Information Sharing and Assessment (LISA).

LISA will store information on all children and young people up to the age of 18 in Lewisham. It will hold data such as name, address, date of birth and school. Practitioners can also note any concerns they might have about an individual on the system.

It will be used by the youth service, the youth offending team, social care, education, housing and health. The police will be able to supply data to be added, but will not be able to access the database. Probation and prison service staff will not have access.
