A 1.2 million children's centre opened in Tameside, Greater Manchester last month. St Peter's Children's Centre includes a 50-place nursery and offers a wide range of support for parents. It shares a garden and meeting space with West End Methodist Church, which has been closely involved in its development.

Families who go to St Elvan's Children's Centre in Portleven, Cornwall,can now benefit from a cafe opened by Christian Charity MustardSeed.
