Mission: To engage young offenders with substance misuse problems in constructive educational activity

Funding: Through the Youth Justice Boards Resettlement and Aftercare Provision programme

Sunderland Youth Offending Services partnership with a professional recording studio in the city enables young people previously involved with crime and drugs to seek an outlet for their energies.

The Bunker opens its doors every Monday and Friday to 14- to 18-year-olds who have been released from custody and are working with the resettlement and aftercare provision (RAP) programme at the offending service.

The free and voluntary drop-in sessions offer the opportunity to learn how to mix records, MC, record music and compose lyrics.
