Hull to launch a youth radio station

Bransholme in Hull will have its own radio station for the first time after six 14- and 15-year-olds successfully applied to the local youth opportunity fund for 15,000.

The teenagers aim to launch Bransholme radio in the spring and will interview local people and promote community events. The students came up with the idea after a radio workshop at their school.
