
I would also have workshop days where the community, primary and secondary school students could come into the station and be part of the team. They could even set up their own broadcast to give them an experience of what it would be like in the industry.
To make it more accessible I could use portable microphones and interview people and talent around the area, I could possibly give school updates on local events.
I think having a radio station is a better way of communicating with students and local people because it makes updates, news and after-school events a lot easier for people to access. These days people tend to like to be told things instead of reading posters. So having a radio station would grab students' attention, therefore making it easier for them to gain important information.
