Women, the young and those stigmatised by socially unacceptable diseases were all left feeling more human as a result of their encounters with Jesus. His approach respected the right of individuals to make choices.
Some churches lack a full understanding of who Jesus was and what he did. Consequently, they display a more judgemental and narrow attitude than their role model.
