As spirituality is an integral part of any young person, and we work with the whole person, exploring spirituality is part of our work whether or not we address it specifically.

For young people living in an active faith community, understanding spirituality is a crucial part of understanding their family and social context. For young people with no faith background, ignoring spirituality denies the holistic experience of the youth work relationship, but embracing it allows greater understanding of personal and social values.

When we support and encourage young people's spirituality we help them to develop a vocational dimension to their lives.
