Nottinghamshire's teenage pregnancy partnership introduced the bands inJune. They come in several colours and carry messages such as "checkyour balls" and "safer sex every time".
The Nottinghamshire partnership is now placing its third order of 4,000wrist-bands, while Northamptonshire County Council has just ordered itsfirst batch.
"The wristbands have been a huge hit with all the young people who'veseen them. We've come up with a modern way of interpreting safer sexpromotion messages and of encouraging young people to work on issues,"said Sue Jablonskas, teenage pregnancy co-ordinator for Nottinghamshireteenage pregnancy partnership.
