There has been a drop in the number of conceptions in girls aged 15 to17 since figures for the teenage pregnancy strategy were firstcollected.
Initiatives include Hull's Teenage Pregnancy Support Service. Funded bySure Start Plus, it provides a wide range of services, including apregnancy adviser to provide teenagers and young parents withsupport.
