Islington - 27 infant deaths under one week per 1,000 women in 2005 (five in England)
In Wear Valley the number of infant deaths has gone down by two from eight in 2004. In Amber Valley the number also went down by two from seven infant deaths. The number of infant deaths in Islington decreased by three from 30 in 2004 to 27 in 2005.
