Health: Bolton teens depict growing up today

Young people in Farnworth in Bolton have created a health-related exhibition at the city's museum, showing what it is like to be a teenager.

The young people are part of the Youth Work 4 Health Programme, a pilot health scheme funded by the Department of Health and The National Youth Agency. They spent 12 weeks attending weekly art sessions run by Farnworth Inclusion Team, part of Bolton Council, discussed issues such as substance misuse and nutrition and visited Bolton Museum for inspiration.

The exhibition, which ran last month, features self-portraits, reproductions of paintings already on display at the museum and scenes depicting life as a teenager today.
