Halton launches youth bus project

Youth Work
Halton Borough Council has launched a mobile project promising "assertive outreach" to young people in Widnes and Runcorn.

VRMZ, short for Virtual Roomz, has been designed and developed with young people to provide leisure and educational activities and services to 11- to 19-year-olds, supporting them to "stay safe, happy and healthy". The precise nature of services on board will vary depending on the areas it visits.

The bus is a joint venture with the charity Young Addaction, the local primary care trust and local voluntary organisations.
