Tell us a bit about your post-registration training and learning (PRTL)
Back in 2001, I did a three-month Level 1 post-qualifying course in enabling others, and from that I went on to complete the year-long advanced course. More recently, I took a two-day course in public speaking, which taught me how to project my voice clearly. This has proved to be useful for when I'm presenting at case hearings in court. I have also completed training in achieving best evidence, a two-week course run by the police and social services. I thoroughly enjoy the post-registration training and learning because it gives you the opportunity to think about, learn from and reflect on your practice.
