The roadshows take place in Leeds on 3 June, Birmingham on 7 June and London on 17 June. The events are free but attendees have to book in advance.
Not-for-profit groups have until 30 July to submit applications to the fund, which will help projects that provide parenting support. The Government has allocated 9.5m to national projects and 6m to local schemes over the next two years. The first awards will be announced in the autumn.
The national programme, which awards grants up to 350,000, is for larger organisations that support under-served parenting groups such as fathers, black and minority ethnic families and families living with disability, bereavement, addiction, mental health problems or conflict. Local grants of up to 100,000 will be distributed to organisations working with the same under-served groups in 18 geographical areas.
