What is it? Football inclusion campaign Kick It Out and sports charity the Football Foundation are offering grants to create more inclusive communities through football. The grants are aimed at increasing participation from minority communities in all areas of the game.
How much is on offer? Grants of £2,000 are available to community groups, grassroots and amateur clubs, youth groups and faith organisations.
What will it fund? The scheme is designed to fund new areas of activity to help increase participation through football. Funds can be used to pay for football coaching sessions, referees, facility hire and equipment. The grants will not fund existing work, educational resources, full sets of football kit, employment of permanent staff or one-off events such as stand-alone football tournaments.
