Funding Watch: British Airways Community Investment Fund

1 min read

What is it? The British Airways Community Investment Fund provides financial support to community and voluntary projects working with residents of the London Borough of Hounslow to improve the development of young people. It also supports schemes that benefit the environment.

How much is on offer? Grants of up to £5,000. Larger grants of up to £10,000 may be considered for exceptional projects.

What will it fund? Projects and activities that benefit local young people aged 18 or under, or 25 and under if the young people have learning disabilities. The fund will support schemes that reduce antisocial behaviour; help young carers; promote young people's employability by improving their literacy, numeracy and IT skills; and help young offenders. It will also fund exercise and sports activities that engage specifically with hard-to-reach young people.
