Funding Watch: BBC Children in Need grants

1 min read

What is it? The BBC Children in Need general grants programme exists to fund projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Grants are given to not-for-profit organisations that bring positive change to the lives of vulnerable children and young people aged 18 and under.

How much is on offer? Up for grabs are main grants of more than £10,000 per year and small grants of £10,000 or less per year. Both are available for up to three years. There is no ceiling limit for the grants, but awards of more than £100,000 are rarely made. Only one grant application can be assessed in any 12-month period.
