Aim The BBC Children in Need general grants programme exists to fund projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Who can apply? Not-for-profit organisations that bring positive change to the lives of vulnerable children and young people aged 18 and under. Applicants must prove that children and young people will be the primary beneficiaries of any project. Examples of projects that have previously been awarded grants include after-school clubs for children with behavioural problems; youth counselling services for young rape victims; and workshops for deaf children.
