The London Borough of Barnet was awarded the cash by the Edward HarvistTrust to share between nine voluntary and community youth organisationsin the borough.
The awards were approved by the council and will allow the organisationsto help young people in areas where youth provision is low. This willinclude dance workshops for teenage mothers, excluded students and youngrefugees and additional support for youth clubs.
