Employment: Rathbone sets up showbiz project

Education charity Rathbone has created a scheme to help young people become tomorrow's showbiz stars.

The 10-week Education to Vocational (E2V) learning programme aims togive unemployed teenagers in Redcar and Cleveland experience in allaspects of stage-craft.

The scheme is for young people aged 16 or 17 who have been unemployed orout of education for more than six months. They will also receivecertificates to help them secure an Entry to Employment place, or go onto further education or into employment.
