Elections: Scottish charity to pile on pressure

Social care charity Quarriers is to call on the next Scottish Executive to do more to back community-based work with children and to encourage integrated working.

The demand is a part of a manifesto for the next four years ofgovernment in Scotland that the charity intends to publish after theScottish Parliament elections on 3 May.

The document also calls on ministers to let vulnerable children have abigger say in matters that affect them, to end the physical punishmentof children and to ensure equal access to leisure services for allchildren.
