By 2007, Manchester hopes to be established as an LEA for inclusive learning. This aim is reflected by the aims of the diversity and inclusion team, which works in partnership with the educational psychology service and education welfare service, among others. This approach aims to ensure that staff working with children and young people have an understanding of the cultural diversity of the city.
