MPs on the committee are planning to question Ofsted, Kidscape and EastAnglia's Children's Hospices on 10 May with a view to conducting a fullenquiry.
Labour MP and committee chair Barry Sheerman told Children Now thecommittee had decided to address the issue after the children'scommissioner for England, Al Aynsley-Green, highlighted the scale of theproblem when he gave evidence to the committee last year.
"We want to look at models of success, where we see the kind ofleadership in schools that appears to eradicate bullying," saidSheerman.
"What are the methods, what kind of school leadership leads to aneradication of bullying, how do you stop a culture of bullyingdeveloping and how do you stop it once it's started? We're looking foranswers."
