The Department for Education and Skills has issued new guidelines toschools, offering suggestions for lessons, staff training andanti-bullying strategies.
It suggests young people could study the life story of Americananti-segregation campaigner Rosa Parks; the contribution made byCommonwealth soldiers to World War II; or football anti-racismcampaigns.
The guidelines will be supported by workshops for schools starting thismonth, where leading teachers and organisations in tackling racistbullying will promote effective practice and race equality.
Schools minister Jacqui Smith said: "These guidelines will form a keypart of schools' compulsory anti-bullying policies."
