The charity Xtraordinary People called for more to be done as juniorschools minister Lord Andrew Adonis announced a 900,000 fund fora two-year project to improve teachers' ability to support dyslexicchildren.
The No to Failure project will be run by Xtraordinary People and willpromote specialist dyslexia training for teachers in "trailblazer"schools around England, starting with a pilot in Southwark, southLondon.
But Kate Griggs, founder of Xtraordinary People, said this was notenough. "Until every school has a teacher who can provide the specialistsupport these children need they will continue to fail," she said.
