Don't miss: A Gun For Christmas - BBC Radio 4, 24 July,5.40-5.55pm

1 min read

This two-part series is the culmination of a year and a half's work spent penetrating the world of the drug-riddled, abuse-filled estate that housed those accused of killing 10-year-old Damilola Taylor. The programme records Armah's growing understanding of the values that existed in what had seemed like a world without values. Gradually, Armah realises that this world is one that has to be understood if anyone is ever to make sense of Damilola's death.

The second programme, to be aired at the same time on 31 July, focuses on what parents are doing to educate their children about the dangers of weapons.
