Actor and writer Kwame Kwei-Armah, star of Casualty, explores the 21st-century plague of Black-on-Black gun crime.
The murders of two Birmingham teenagers at the start of January 2003 shocked communities and brought Black churches onto the front line. In the US, the Reverend Eugene Rivers has been working with the police and clergy for more than 10 years to co-ordinate efforts to tackle the gangs in Boston. As a result, violent gang crime in Boston has been reduced to an all-time low.
Kwei-Armah's journey ends in the UK as he explores the new routes Black churches have taken to make their young people drop their guns.
