
The tension is mounting down in Vietnam Village. Secret papers have been left in a satchel hanging from a pile of tyres in no man's land and the enemy is dug in. A whistle blows and suddenly it is mayhem, as guns ring out and combatants in camouflage and black masks dash around.
Paintballing might not be every youth worker's preferred activity, but the young people here love it. The young people are at Bulthy Farm in Welshpool as part of a Do it 4 Real summer camp. You can't help but suspect they're relieved no one's going to force them into a discussion about how to stop gun crime, as they run around with their paintball guns. It's summer and they're having fun and making friends.
